All Downsie’s rods are flamed to a medium brown and fitted with nickel-silver reel seat hardware and ferrules (blued hardware is no extra charge). Rods are guaranteed against defects in workmanship for life and carry an unconditional guarantee for one year from the purchase date.
We are now taking bookings for the trip to Montana. Sept 8-15. 3 day on the Missouri and 3 days on the upper Beaver Head. All rooms, 6 guided days and all the food for $2500. Let me know….we have 3 spots left!! Thanks
Alrighty then…..I want to thank everyone for all the feedback about the webpage. The changes are underway. There is a chance that the page will be down for up to 3 days as servers are updated. Fear not! We can rebuild him….bigger….stronger….faster. Fingers crossed!
Penns Creek: Hi. Summer time is here. The creek has survived well and we had good rain last week. The flow is 209 CFS at 11 PM today. The water levels are exactly average for this time of year.
The Little Tan Caddis #16/18 and Yellow Crane Flies #18 have both been starting around 9 AM. The Yellow, Light and Orange Cahill #12/14 have been starting late because of the heat. The Slate Drakes #10 have started and so have the Big Blue Wing Olives #14/16. Blue Quills #18/20, Blue Wing Olives #20 and Midges #22/26. Lets stay in touch!
Spring Creek: Good. Tan Caddis, Blue Quills and Midges. Here is the flow below Fisherman’s Paradise at Axemann.
Fishing Creek: Ok. Same bugs as Penns.
