5.24.2024….Drake Steak

Green Drakes are hatching throughout the system. We’ve had spinner falls the last two nights.

We got a good shot of rain the other night, bringing the levels up while making the creek dirty. The fish did not care and we are our way back down!

It’s bug soup out there. March Browns and Gray Fox, Assorted Caddis and Craneflys, Quill Gordons, Sulphurs(all of em), BWO, Blue Quill.

Guided trips have been running all smiles! Our calendar has lots of availability starting in the first week of June. Call the shop to book your trip. Whether new or experienced, our guides have something to offer to every angler.

2.25.2024….Time to go

Starting Monday February 26, 2024 the fly shop will resume normal hours.

New product rolling in daily. We’re loaded up on wader and boots, bags, packs, vests, rods, reels, lines, sunglasses, tippet, etc. You get the idea.

Open 9AM-5PM, 7 days a week.

Water levels are looking great. The 10 day forecast is calling for April weather for the first week of March. Guess it’s time to go fishing!

Extravanganza

A reminder, our annual extravaganza will be from March 15-17. Sales storewide starting at 10% off.

Saturday(3/16) we will have food, drinks, fly tying demos and a number brand reps on hand. Sure to be a good time.

2.4.2024…smells like spring

Hi! It has been a while. Things have been quite around here. January brought cold and snow. February has brought a thaw and warmer temps. Creeks are flowing well and in great shape! We have been enjoying the opportunity to get out and fish without all of the winter layers. We are seeing midges and early black stones.

Extravaganza

Our Annual Extravaganza is coming up. March 15-17. Discounts store wide starting at 10% off. On Saturday, (3/16) enjoy food and drinks on the house! We will have fly tying demos throughout the day. We look forward to seeing old friends and making some new ones!

The Feathered Hook Lodge

Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed their stay at The Feathered Hook Lodge. We are excited to begin our fourth year up Pine Creek Road. If you haven’t seen the lodge, ask about a tour the next time you are in the shop.

6/1/23…..It is Hot out!

The Green Drake is winding down for another year and summer has set in a few weeks early.

Please watch the water temps for the next couple of days until things return to normal which should happen on Sunday.

5/21/23…..GREEN DRAKES!

And so it begins for another year…….

The Drakes are at the lower end around Glen Iron but will make there way up to weikert and cherry run area soon.

They have also started above Coburn as the temps are about the same there as the lower end!

So exciting!!
