Howdy
The creek is low and clear and we need rain!
The low water and hot weather has upped the temps but it is supposed to cool down on Monday 🤞🏽
The hatches are happening:
March browns and Gray Fox
Tan and black Caddis
Blue wings and blue quills
Sulphurs and sulphurs
Spinners of all the above

Spring is a special time of year!
Things come to life…
Bugs start to hatch….
And trout start to rise!
WONDERFUL!!
The water is low and clear for this time of year. We are supposed to get some rain soon but does anyone trust weather people?!
The Hatches:
March Browns
Grey Fox
Sulphurs
Blue Wing Olives
Yellow Crane Flies
Assorted Caddis
Not Bad!
4/24/21….And back to Spring we go….
Yesterday was a wonderful day of fishing on Penns Creek!
Poe paddy up to Coburn had amazing Grannom Caddis and Hendricksons while the lower end was covered in Grey Fox and some March Browns!
The water is quite clear and a little low and we are supposed to get rain tonight.

Spring is a wonderful time of year!
Bugs are hatching….fish are eating….life is good!
We have seen the first of the March Browns and Grey Fox. Sulphurs should start anytime!
The water is clear and in near perfect condition.
