2.4.2024…smells like spring

Hi! It has been a while. Things have been quite around here. January brought cold and snow. February has brought a thaw and warmer temps. Creeks are flowing well and in great shape! We have been enjoying the opportunity to get out and fish without all of the winter layers. We are seeing midges and early black stones.

Extravaganza

Our Annual Extravaganza is coming up. March 15-17. Discounts store wide starting at 10% off. On Saturday, (3/16) enjoy food and drinks on the house! We will have fly tying demos throughout the day. We look forward to seeing old friends and making some new ones!

The Feathered Hook Lodge

Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed their stay at The Feathered Hook Lodge. We are excited to begin our fourth year up Pine Creek Road. If you haven’t seen the lodge, ask about a tour the next time you are in the shop.

2.19.2023….EXTRAVAGANZA!

It’s almost Extravaganza time! Mark your Calendars! March 17, 18, 19.

Discounts storewide. Everything in the store is at least 10% off. Larger discounts on select products.

We’ll have food, drinks and fly tying demos going throughout the day Saturday March 18. We will also have sales reps on hand from Simms Fishing, Thomas and Thomas and Pure Fishing. All are welcome!

The calendar says it’s the middle of February but more often that not the weather feels like the end of March.

1.8.2023….Winter Hours

Starting this week the shop will be open Winter Hours. Closed Monday, Tuesday. Open the rest of the week from 9am-5pm.

The B&B remains open 365.

6.11.2022….DRUNELLA!!!

Another drake hatch has come and gone. The Big Blue Winged Olive is on. Slate Drakes, Cahills, Suplhurs , Blue quill, Craneflies and assorted caddis to name a few others.

We’ve got some rain and cooler temps. The fish are fat and happy.

Our stretch of water at The Feathered Hook Lodge is cold and getting summer buggy! Book your summer terrestrial trip on the coolest water around!

Summer smallmouth is heating up. Poppers, crawfish and minnows galore! Get a float with our guides targeting the pound for pound, hardest fighting freshwater fish you’re gonna find. We’d tell you it’s as much fun as you can have with your clothes on, but we’ll let you decide!

7/20/21…..Summer Games

As the Olympic Games set to kick off this week we are keeping our summer games rolling! We are heavy on the summer smallmouth program! Break out your 7 and 8 wts. and don’t leave your double haul at home! Its popper time. Do you like to cast, watch a fish eat your fly, and get your rod bent over?….US TOO… we invite you to hop on one of our boats and join us for a day on the water!

Bring your kids along! We’ve got all the fly gear & equipment to get you out there and we also have conventional tackle. Groups welcome.

The heat wave of early July has seemed to brake leaving us with slightly more mild temperatures.. We are leaving the big creek alone due to warmer water temps. The lodge property is very cold and quite productive. We have guides available almost daily at the Lodge. Terrestrial Season is just getting going and don’t forget about the Night Bite. Join our Guides 1 on 1 as your we hunt for a bump in the night. Night trips typically run from 10pm-2am.( 1 angler-1 guide max)
