6.11.2022….DRUNELLA!!!

Another drake hatch has come and gone. The Big Blue Winged Olive is on. Slate Drakes, Cahills, Suplhurs , Blue quill, Craneflies and assorted caddis to name a few others.

We’ve got some rain and cooler temps. The fish are fat and happy.

Our stretch of water at The Feathered Hook Lodge is cold and getting summer buggy! Book your summer terrestrial trip on the coolest water around!

Summer smallmouth is heating up. Poppers, crawfish and minnows galore! Get a float with our guides targeting the pound for pound, hardest fighting freshwater fish you’re gonna find. We’d tell you it’s as much fun as you can have with your clothes on, but we’ll let you decide!

5/31/22….DRAKES EVERYWHERE

We are getting reports of Green Drakes everywhere at once because of the heat. Duns some places….coffin flys some places….mixed in others!

All sorts of bug soup!

Yeeeeaaaa!

Thanks

Jonas

8.30.2021….SUMMER SIP

Hi. We’ve been keeping busy this summer. The smallmouth are still grooving and sipping. If you haven’t got out for a day or two on the boat, now is the time.  Ida Is hitting PA today, setting us up for some good water to ride out the summer!

JIMBO

Guided days have been rolling out with a bang. Throw flies, conventional tackle or both as you float down the river while enjoying the scenery of beautiful central Pennsylvania.

Fly and Conventional anglers alike getting on the fish day in and out.

We’ve had some folks staying and fishing over at the property on Pine Creek. The water is ice cold and fish are munching. The terrestrial fishing has been good. Big foam eating trout? Yep, were not mad. The summer showers have set up for some stunner streamer days.

7.27.2021….Rolling

Only a few days left until August. This summer is flying.

The fishing has been goood providing anglers the opportunity to catch em how you want. From a fly rod throwing top water to pulling streamers, to conventional tackle, the river has something to offer everybody! As our waters begin to clear and drop we will have more and more sight fishing opportunities.

Don’t miss out on the summer sessions! Get your day in the boat. Groups welcome with advanced notice.
