Penns Creek flows nearly seventy miles from its headwaters north of Spring Mills, through Centre, Snyder, and Union Counties and into the Susequehanna River downstream of Selinsgrove.

Fishing
Penns Creek offers a mix of world-class public and private trout fishing. The upper and middle regions contain wild rainbow and browns. The lower waters include suckers, smallies, and pan fish.
Hatches
The late May Green Drake hatch is considered one of the largest in the world. Hendricksons, Sulphurs, and Trico hatches are also notable.
